Down the Blues Alley Erik Trauner, solo
If a single musician gets on stage with just his instrument, it takes intensity to hold an audience. Exactly that intensity & tightness can be experienced at Erik Trauner's concerts. He always likes to return to his musical roots, the acoustic Blues.

It was the rural Blues with its endless variety that eventually motivated the 16-year-old teenager to start plucking the strings himself. It was never his aim to imitate the old masters of the Country Blues note for note, but to develop his own musical handwriting.
Erik Trauner had already found his style & his place. However, in the royal discipline of guitar playing when he gets out his bottleneck to play the steel guitar, the passionate musician is moving on a higher level. With his sonorous & natural vocals, his music becomes whole. He also has written most of the song in his repertoire. Whatever is on, it might be fast Finger Pickin' or Greasy Blues Ballets saying it with feeling or Stompin' Chicago Blues … they always match perfectly together & they always understand how to excite their audience with their enthusiasm & spontaneity. The Wizards of Blues take you on an adventurous musical excursion through the world of the Blues with all its colorful facets. And besides paying tribute to the old masters of Country Blues of the 30's and 40's, you can hear a lot of original songs written by Erik & Siggi. A live evening with the Wizards might be felt as a resort for victims trying to escape the Pop Music syndrome.
