Self-taught on electric and double bass, studies in Vienna, scholarship for the American Institute of Music.

After lessons in classical guitar, he took up the electric bass at the age of 13, initially as a self-taught player, and founded a blues-rock band with two friends from the neighbourhood. After his school-leaving exams he moved to Vienna to study electric and double bass and received a scholarship for the American Institute of Music in 1992.

He has worked with many national and international artists such as Gisele Jackson, Chuck Le Monds, Opus, Tim Tim, Koolinger, Prince Zeka and many more, and was a member of the Karl Ratzer Quintet from 1999 to 2003. Now he is happy to go „back to the roots“ and provide the bass foundation for the Mojo Blues Band.
